Promenades or long walking tours are the most natural activity during vacation. Also, it is an excellent cardio that everyone can do. Comfy shoes and an interesting route is all you need to make the walk a real pleasure!

Become a local and take a run in a park

In most European capitals you will see locals making daily runs in city’s parks. Join them and feel yourself like a local! If you are on beach or forest holidays, jogging will be even more enjoyable and beneficial: the air is fresher and these are one of those rare moment when you can stay alone with yourself.

Try the outdoor yoga

Yoga fans can get up at dawn and do some asanas overlooking the ocean or mountains. Accompanied by clear air and the sounds of nature, such trainings will allow deeper relaxation and, accordingly, greater results.

Sea or swimming pool: your natural ‘gym’

Swimming is great exercise to engage arm and leg muscles, as well as to train breathing and simply to enjoy: it is a well known fact that swimming increases produce of ‘happy hormones’ – endorphins.

Eat more fruits and drink more water

Summer is the time when our body stocks up on vitamins and nutrients contained in ripe seasonal fruits. So, eat fruits for snacking, rather that those unhealthy foods sold on the beach or near tourist spots. And do not forget to drink water: two litres of pure non-carbonated water per day will help your body to get rid of toxins in a natural way.
